Rusty Cooley Overdrive 2.0
The Rusty Cooley Overdrives 18 volt circuit was designed to deliver rich overdrive with the head room to operate as a full-bodied clean boost. The redesigning of the RC OD was aimed at guitarists that can’t be bothered with the tired old overdrive pedal sound. With nothing borrowed from the hackneyed standards the RC ODs touch sensitivity is 2nd to none. The subtleties of your technique are audible like never before.
The Rusty Cooley Overdrive operates on a 9 volt power supply, with an internal converter turning that 9v into 18 volts. This provides more balanced power and head room which allows for a full-spectrum reproduction of your guitars tone.
The RC OD creates huge tone by blending your clean signal with its distortion. The Drive knob control adjusts the amount of gain and the mix of clean signal. With the drive set low the RC OD acts as a gorgeous clean boost.
