Essential Metal Distortion

Because Pro Tone Pedals is probably best known for our high gain metal distortion pedals like the Body Rot II, III and the Skumstortion we thought it only made sense to add a metal distortion to the Essentials line up.

This 3 knob beast is like none other we’ve released. A combination of distortion technologies under the hood deliver some serious tone.

We’ve spent much of the last year diving into the extended range realm- focusing our attention on 7 & 8 string guitar and extremely detuned 6′s for that matter. What we’ve found is that most distortion pedals fall short on the lower register. The chords get soft and lose all bottom end definition. The Metal Distortion was designed specifically to address this issue, while delivering some of the best distortion found in a pedal, regardless of price tag.
